My Quarantine Diary — Day 4

4 days down, 11 more days to go!

These days I realize I start to keep a quite healthy daily routine + sleep schedule for my weekdays. Allow me to list here:

  • Sleep for 8 hours;
  • Get up at around 720am when the hotel staff will knock at my door to remind me breakfast is here;
  • Do some high-priority work that need more thinking, or have meetings from 930am–12noon;
  • Lunch and take a break from 1230–2pm;
  • Work more 2pm-630pm, sometimes to 730pm; while in between I will try to squeeze 30 min or so for some workouts or exercise;
  • Shower at 730pm–8pm;
  • Dinner time + watch Big Band: 8pm-930pm
  • 930–10pm+: relax, chat with friends, write diary, sleep..

One thing I notice is that I got more time in the morning to spend. Since now I don’t need to cook, or think of what to eat, what to dress, neither do I have to commute. Suddenly I saved a lot of time especially in the morning.

I have been trying to utilize the time, one thing is to listen to an episode of podcast. Another thing that i may try is to pick up the old habit of reading books in the morning, just this time, it’s not in a train, but in a hotel room.

What else can I do in the morning? watch the sunrise?

P.S. I start to miss that fresh air a little.
